The picture used in the header of my site is a panoramic shot I took from the Schoolhouse Road in "Shuttsville." Minus the paved road, this is probably quite similar to the view that Conrad Schutz and family first saw when moving to the area almost 200 years ago. In the foreground is land once owned by Edgar Shutts. In the background is Upper Chateaugay Lake, surrounded by the northern end of the Adirondack mountains, with Lyon Mountain being the tallest over to the left.
